OKEEDOKEE! The inspiration for this blog actually came from the anime Black Butler (you should watch it, it's really good). Throughout the series they feature little teatime dishes and desserts which look super-yummy and are, in fact, Googleable recipes! I challenged myself to collect the dishes, make them, and post the results for all the world to witness.
From these musings, I wandered into the idea of posting recipes from other shows I happened to stumble across, and then entertained the thought of posting my own recipes for alcoholic cupcakes.
For anyone wondering, the name Crooked Cupcakes is a fitting double entendre for both the boozie baked goods and the lopsided decorations I seem to have mastered. :P
I will be accepting challenges and orders alike from anyone, so COME AT ME! :D
